New Beginning Outpatient Treatment Center

The purpose of New Beginning Treatment Center is to provide therapeutic service to clients and their families who may be suffering from various addictions and/or co-occurring disorders (mental illness). New Beginning provides counseling, assessments, education, referrals to inpatient treatment, aftercare for adults and adolescents, and treatment for co-occurring disorders. New Beginning also provides outreach services to the community and work with adolescents who are having a challenge with addictions. Addictions affect one in every five families in Louisiana. New Beginning will implement its faith-based component to treatment along with other best practices that is used in treating addictions

Our Program

New Beginning Outpatient Treatment Center serves the community and surrounding areas by treating clients with addictions to alcohol, drugs, gambling, destructive behavior and mental illness, so they can re-build their lives to become productive citizens in our society.

Individual/Group Counseling Relapse Prevention Chemical Dependency Anger Management Classes Family Therapy Co-Occurring Disorders Group After Care L.I.F.E Support Group (Living in Freedom Every Day) Education Groups (i.e., Co-dependency, Gambling, Substance abuse, Families of chemically dependent persons, Referral programs for clients and families, Smoking, Eating Disorders) Counselors' in Training Program Depression Sexual Abuse Counseling Life Skills Pastoral counseling
